Guided by the Oregon Utility Notification Center (OUNC) board, OCC created a residential-focused landing page to help this audience better understand the locate process. This page is easily accessible via a link at the bottom of the email copy of a locate request.

Positive Response Campaign

To increase voluntary positive response participating, Oregon 811 collaborated with OCC’s Creative team to develop and launch a successful campaign that included monthly email blasts, social media, and website enhancements to successfully meet this goal.

Delayed Start Time Feature Implementation

By implementing a “Delayed Start Time” feature in ITICnxt®, Oregon 811 has addressed the rapid increase of locate requests, provided both facility operators and excavators with more control around timing their work, and created a documentation trail that aligns with the law.
