Gopher State One Call collaborated with OCC to develop My Ticket Analytics as a second phase to an evolving online dashboard project. My Ticket Analytics provides facility operators and excavators with an easy way to review electronic positive response information – for their tickets only – by ticket start date and time. It’s received a positive response from users for its convenience and ease of use.
To help Minnesota’s top 100 facility operators and excavators plan for the following year, OCC provides a semiannual analysis of locate requests received or submitted by their company. Participating companies have shared that receiving a spreadsheet with their ticket data broken down into different categories has made planning easier, and excavators have found value in reflecting on their approach to submitting locate requests.
With the goal of reducing pressure on locate resources, a dynamic notice was implemented April to October on Mondays and Tuesdays. The notice alerts metro-area excavators of high ticket volume and recommends adding an additional half to full business day to their start date/time. Recognized as a success by facility operators, the effort has resulted in 40% of excavators giving eight hours to seven days additional notice.
