Before founding One Call Concepts, Inc. in 1982, Tom Hoff worked nearly 20 years at the Chesapeake and Potomac (C&P) Telephone Company of Maryland (now Verizon). At C&P, he was responsible for many aspects of outside and inside plant construction and maintenance and acquired the skills and body of knowledge required to manage a successful call center or outside plant operation. Tom was the last manager of the Miss Utility operation while it was still operated in-house by C&P. Shortly after launching One Call Concepts, Tom won major contracts, which the company still holds to this day.
